Touch Registration: Software & Reports
The Sentinel attendance monitoring software,
which interfaces with both SIMS and Facility, has been successfully
used in schools throughout the country for over 15 years. It is
Windows based, easy to install, intuitive to use and requires minimal
or no training. The software comes complete with a clear, comprehensive,
installation and user manual. Fingerprints are digitally stored
in an encrypted form within a secured database, which is stored
on the network server.
Easy to read screens allow staff to instantly
view and/or print off real-time attendance data and the system includes
a large number of reports and letters as standard, including all
required statutory reports. Customised reports can also be created
to meet specific needs. These accurate, real-time reports can be
quickly and easily viewed, downloaded or printed enabling you to
effectively monitor attendance and accurately administer the EMA.
These reports include:
- Attendance – session
by session or lesson by lesson attendance for each specific week,
for individuals and groups
- Weekly Summary - weekly attendance
summary in morning and afternoon sessions, depicted using a herringbone
effect
- Daily Absences - daily summary
by period for individuals or groups. Reports for absent all day,
absent once a day and late once a day. Includes times absent and
times late
- Three Day Absences - students
not attending for 3 days or more. Reports are sorted by name,
tutor group or date
- Subject Reports –
reports by specific classes for selected date ranges
